Classic Tractors of
Northeast Iowa, Inc.
ABOUT CLASSIC TRACTORS:
Classic tractors is an organization of tractor
enthusiasts that includes over 70 members from parts of
northeast Iowa, as well as parts of Minnesota and
Wisconsin.
The members of Classic Tractors are owners of old
classics that have been restored, repainted, and brought
out to enjoy cruising through scenic Iowa on "tractor
rides" (see below
for dates).
Classic Tractors is in support of the Heritage Farm
Park, an agricultural historic site north of Clermont,
Iowa. Heritage Farm Park president and Classic
Tractors member, Vernon Oakland supports Classic Tractors
and the preservation of agricultural history here in the
midwest.
Members of the tractor group make appearances in local
parades, tractor rides, and participate in field
trips to area events of interest. Although centered
in Clermont, Iowa, Classic Tractors includes members from
all over, including Waterloo, Waverly, Dubuque, and
adjoining states.

UPCOMING TRACTOR
RIDES:
June 11, 2005 Spring Tractor Ride (starts at the
Heritage Farm Park in Clermont, and treks through the
countryside around Elgin, Iowa and then onto the old
railroad town of present day Brainard. From there
they will move south and make a stop at the Lima Church
near Volga Lake. They'll continue to cruise over
mostly gravel roads in the beautiful hills of Fayette
County to Wadena and enjoy lunch at the Wadena City Park.
They will proceed back through Elgin and finish where they
started at the Heritage Farm Park.

Classic Tractors to tour Kinze
Mfg.
March 1, 2005
Classic Tractors of Northeast Iowa Inc. invites members
and non-members to visit Kinze Manufacturing, a
modern manufacturing plant where today's planter are
designed and manufactured.
As time permits, the tour may explore other
Williamsburg attractions. The chartered bus
departs March1st, at 7 am from Kerndt Brothers Bank
parking lot in Clermont. For info, costs, and
